]]> I had been doing some graphics and technical consulting work for the blog Daily Kos when its founder, Markos Moulitsas Zúniga wrote his first book co-authored with Jerome Armstrong. They were having a hard time getting a cover design they liked… and asked me to take a stab at it.

This is the cover that appeared on the first edition hardcover, and Markos’ inscription on my copy reads “Thanks for getting the cover right (1st try) when so many others failed!”

Californians were going to be paid in a scrip that banks might not even accept. California’s Courage Campaign felt taxpayers should know that Gov. Schwarzenegger was responsible.

These were distributed as high-resolution PDF files on the Courage Campaign website.

This is almost certainly the only graphic I ever created for a client that included my signature.
